"One day Jesus went up in a boat, which belonged to Simon, and begged him to move away a little from the land. He sat down and trained the crowds from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Go out to sea and put down your fishing nets. Simon replied, "Master, we have been struggling all night and have caught nothing; but on your word I will cast the nets. And when they had done so, they caught an enormous quantity of fish, and the nets broke... When Simon Peter saw this, he threw himself on Jesus' knees, saying, "Lord, turn away from me, for I am a sinner. Great amazement had in fact caught him and all those who were with him for the fishing they had done... Jesus said to Simon: "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be a fisherman of men. Pull the boats ashore, they left everything and followed him."
